Day 16: Pray for our Outreach Partners

At Celebrate Church, we have partnered with organizations that are making a difference on the front lines. They are the ones doing the hard work day in and day out to help us love our neighbors in tangible and intangible ways.

Today, we are going to pray for our three Outreach Partners. As you get ready to pray, take a moment to learn more about each one:

Terry Redlin Elementary School in Sioux Falls:

Terry Redlin Elementary School is comprised of nearly 80% economically disadvantaged students. This means that over 300 students receive free or reduced school lunches every week. Celebrate Church ministers to Terry Redlin by giving meals to the families, mentoring students, supporting the soccer program, and blessing teachers and staff with meals and gift certificates, and mentorin.

Liberia:

We have partnered with World Hope International to impact the lives of people of Liberia. Over the past several years, we have been able to send multiple teams of people to build relationships and show the love of Jesus to our friends in this country. We have also financially supported the digging of many wells, building schools, providing computers for schools, upgrading the water and electrical systems at a hospital in Monrovia, and providing for hundreds of children to have an education.

Feeding South Dakota:

We partner with Feeding South Dakota to fund their Summer Backpack program, which provides weely meals to students in need during the summer months. 

Prayer: Father, today we thank You for giving us eyes to see the needs of the people in the Terry Redlin community, through the backpack program, and the people of Liberia. You are alive and working in these communities. You remind us in Mark 12:31 to love our neighbors as ourselves. Today, we lift up our neighbors locally at Terry Redlin and Feeding South Dakota, and globally in Liberia. Would You please break our hearts and show us how we can honor You by serving others today? In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
